Daniel Chapters 1-7
Daniel 1-7 introduces the young Jewish man Daniel who was captured by the Babylons and made an eunuch. As a young man he took a stand for the God of Israel and God blessed him greatly.

Why were Daniel and his friends treated so very well? Their captor realized that the young Jewish people were very smart and they wanted to train and use them for their purposes. Actually they all were made eunuchs so in that way they were not treated well.

The king of Babylon was very mad that his wise men could not say what he dreamed about so he was going to kill of his wise men. But Daniel knew that he dreamed and what the dream meant because God told him. Yes, you are right.

What does “odours” mean in Daniel 2:46? This was sweet smells, probably they were burning incense to him like they would in their worship to their gods. They were treating him like a god.
One of the three men cast into the fire was Daniel. No, he for some reason was not a part of this story. He may have been away but he was not cast into the fiery furnace.
Daniel already told Nebuchadnezzar about his dream again in Daniel 4. Yes, this chapter is the king telling his people what happened to him and how Daniel helped him.
Nebuchadnezzar is dead in Daniel 5. Yes, Belshazzar was the grandson of Nebuchadnezzar.
What was written in Daniel 5? This was what was written: MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.
MENE – God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. (This was repeated twice since God meant it. Belshazzar died just a few hours later.)
TEKEL – Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.
PERES – Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

Did Daniel ever get set free? No, he died in Babylon. He was an old man in the days of Belshazzar.
What prophecy are they talking about in Daniel 7:13-14? This is may be a reference to the church age but it is definitely referring to the millennial reign of Christ.
In Daniel 7:21 did they beat the saints? This is a prophecy about the antichrist and the tribulation saints. The antichrist will prevail against those saved during the tribulation.
