Is this the same Elijah that was in 1 Kings? Yes

Did the bears kill the children in 2 Kings 2:24? I really don’t know. The Bibles aid that the bears “tare” the children. I do believe that all of them died from being mauled by the bears.

Is Jehoram another bad king? Yes, he was the son of Ahab, he was not as bad as his father, but he was not a good king. 2 Kings 3:2  “And he wrought evil in the sight of the LORD”; but not like his father, and like his mother: for he put away the image of Baal that his father had made.” Nevertheless he cleaved unto the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel to sin; he departed not therefrom.

Who is Jehoshaphat? Jehoshaphat was a good king. He was a king of Judah. However he did a dumb thing when he allied himself with the bad king of Israel – Ahab – to fight against the king of Moab.

How did the vessels get filled? This was a miracle. The oil did not run out until all of the vessels were filled.

What is “rent his clothes”? To rend is to tear. “Rent” is the past tense of rend. So if a person “rent his clothes” he (or she) tore them in great great or anger.

Did they eat people in Chapter 6 in 2 Kings? Yes, the famine was so bad that children were eaten.

Is Syria the same Syria today? Yes, the boundaries is are a bit different but pretty much the same.
