What did it mean “My little finger shall be thicker than my father’s loins.” in 2 Chronicles 10:10?  This was a figure of speech that meant that he (Rehoboam) will be far harsher than his father was in matters of laws, taxes, etc.

No, Jeroboam did this and the priests and the Levites went to Rehoboam’s kingdom. 2 Chronicles 11:13 & 14 “And the priests and the Levites that were in all Israel resorted to him (Rehoboam) out of all their coasts for the Levites left their suburbs and their possession, and came to Judah and Jerusalem: for Jeroboam and his sons had cast them (the priests and the Levites) off from executing the priest’s office unto the LORD.”

Rehoboam was not a nice king. He was a lousy king. No, he was King Solomon’s son but he was not a godly king. He was very harsh to the people.  He despised the worship of the LORD.

What is “a long season” in 2 Chronicles 15:3  A long season is a long period of time.

What are “vexations” in 2 Chronicles 15:5? Vexations are any kinds of trouble.

Asa did not turn to the LORD.  In his disease he did not turn to the LORD, but other than that he was a good and Godly king.

Who was Micaiah? He was a prophet of the LORD and served under King Ahab who hated him because he told the king exactly what the LORD said.

What does “afflictions” mean? Afflictions is something that causes pain or suffering.

The king of Israel died in battle? Yes, Ahab died in battle from a “chance” arrow.

Jehoshaphat was he a good king? Yes according to  2 Chronicles 17:6  his heart was lifted up in the ways of the LORD and he also took away the places for idol worship.

Is there a valley somewhere around Berachah that is mentioned in  2 Chronicles 20:26?  There was when this account was recorded. I don’t know if it is still a valley today.

Did Jehoshaphat start out as a good king but later turned bad? Near the end of his life he joined with the evil king of Israel Ahab who was bad.

Was Jehoram was a good king?  No, not Jehoram the king of Judah. 2 Chronicles 21:4-6 records his reign that “wrought that which was evil”.

What is wrought? “Wrought” is the archaic past and past participle of work.

What are sore diseases? in 2 Chronicles 21? Sore meansextremely or severely”.
